Historic Port Fairy is located on the Great Ocean Road and is centrally located to nearby towns and attractions which make the perfect day trips from Port Fairy. This includes trips to Portland, Bridgewater Bay, Vineyards, "The Grampians" and Mt. Ecles National Park
Travelling to Port Fairy can be enjoyed along the Great Ocean Road. Alternatively Princes Hwy provides a more direct route of between 3 to 4 hours from Melbourne.

| Moyneyana Festival 24th Dec, 2008 to 31st Jan, 2009: Summer Festival Fun in Port Fairy and in its 60th year. This year the theme “60 Years of Celebration” will be highlighted for the duration of the festival.

| 32nd Port Fairy Folk Festival March 2009: The festival presents a unique line-up of International and National artists over the four day long week-end. We present folk roots, blues, jazz, bluegrass, celtic roots, jazz, crossroads country and rock, and music of the world. Add the Children's Folk Circus a Free Festival of the Streets, markets, buskers and a beautiful setting of hsitory, sun and sea.
